Graduate Commencement Speaker
We are looking for nominations and/or self-nominations for a graduating student to be the Spring 2009 Graduate Commencement speaker. If you graduated in December 2008 or will be graduating in May 2009 and are interested, please read the following information:
Eligibility:
The speaker must have graduated in December 2008 or will beg raduating in may 2009. The speaker should have a strong academic record, and the support of his/her Graduate Program Director.
The Speech:
The speech is to be no more than three minutes in length and must be on a topic of interest to Emerson graduate students.
To Apply:
Submit a nomination for someone by providing his/her name and program to the Office of Graduate Studies. The student will be contacted to determine if he/she is interested in submitting a speech outline. To nominate yourself, submit your name, program, and an outline of your proposed speech. Please include an e-mail address and phone number where you can be reached.
Nominations are due Wednesday, April 8, 2009.
